This beautiful, travertine floor cleaning and sealing in Oxfordshire really benefitted from a good deep clean and seal as the natural colours and patterns within the stone were really brought out and enhanced by this process. The floor was not too grubby, but was dull and lacklustre which did not show the floor off to its full potential.
We also filled lots of small holes within the travertine which were catching the dirt and bothering the customer. We carefully taped around each one after cleaning but prior to sealing, and filled with a stone repair resin filler.
We love working on travertine stone floors and would love to hear from you if you would like a quote for the cleaning and sealing or polishing of yours in Oxfordshire. Just fill out the form on our website here.
This stone floor was looking rather grubby and dull. The grout lines had become ingrained with dirt and so too had the stone. Using our stripping and deep cleaning processes including cleaning all grout lines by hand, we gave these floors a new lease of life! The natural colours and markings within the stone were really brought out and after applying the seal, the colours were enhanced and the floors looked gorgeous and had a lovely soft sheen!

This limestone floor was in a gorgeous bed & breakfast in the Cotswolds and had become a little grubby and dull over several years. After we cleaned it all and then sealed it to give a lovely soft sheen, it looked beautiful and presentable again for the guests.

Everyone hates dirty changing room floors! They make me cringe!!! Therefore, it is really important that they are maintained well and kept clean so that customers have a pleasurable environment to change in and clean floor to walk on in their bare feet.
We recommended to this health club in Oxford that we deep clean their changing room floors every 3-6 months as they get a lot of traffic. The non-slip textured surface of the tiles also makes it difficult to clean the floor properly just with simple mopping.
As you can see from the photos during the floor cleaning process, there is quite a contrast between the parts of the floor which have been cleaned and those which have not, and they cleaned up as good as new on completion.

You can see from the sample to this slate floor below, that it had a thick plasticity type seal to it which had also become discoloured, damaged and looked awful after a flood. We carried out this sample on visiting to quote to judge how difficult the old seal would be to strip off and it did prove very stubborn and time consuming to strip right back to the bare stone, but looked so much better afterwards. The customer was delighted that we could improve on her floors so much and instructed us to do the work.
This slate floor cleaning and sealing in Bicester wasn’t an easy job but was a very rewarding one to see the final results. After stripping back the floors as best as possible (it wasnt possible to remove every last bit of old seal especially where ingrained in the grout lines), we deep cleaned and neutralised the bare floor before finishing with several coats of a natural stone sealer which enhanced the colours and gave a nice sheen to the floor as per the customers preference. This also assists with daily maintenance making it easier to mop clean with the appropriate floor cleaner.

This natural stone floor cleaning in Oxford shows what an amazing difference we can make to your floors! Before, you can see there were grubby, discoloured grout lines and the stone looked dull and lacked the wow factor. In the photos below, the second photo just shows the floor after cleaning and before sealing it. The natural stone floor already looks brighter and lifts the appearance of the whole kitchen.
The photo below shows the far area having been cleaned and the nearest part hasn’t been done yet. The difference is amazing and it looks like a different floor! To achieve this, the floor is stripped back to the bare stone and deep cleaned using the appropriate machinery and products including scrubbing all the grout lines clean by hand. With our meticulous attention to detail, no part of the floor is left untouched and the results speak for themselves.
We then went on to seal the floor with several coats of a water based natural stone sealer to give the floor a lovely sheen to the customers desired level of shine. As well as looking stunning, this will facilitate with daily maintenance and keep the floor looking cleaner for longer.

We achieved a great result on this parquet floor without sanding it! It was very dusty and grubby from renovation works to the property but it cleaned up brilliantly and the seal enhanced the colours in the wood and gave it a lovely sheen.
If you are thinking of having your wooden floors sanded then think again as it may not be necessary! Give us a call and we can advise if your floor is in good enough condition for wood floor cleaning and sealing or oiling instead 0800 020 9199.
This slate floor cleaning and sealing in Oxfordshire looked a brand new floor once we had completed the restoration! Due to building works, not only was the floor very grubby but also very dusty and dull and in need of a good clean. The customer wanted a shiny finish which was achieved with a natural stone topical seal. The floor will be so much easier to maintain for her now and it gives the whole room a real lift. The customer was delighted 🙂
There are many different types of slate floor, some of which are trickier to restore than others as they can have a very undulated and uneven surface, but this particular floor was reasonably straight forward and was completed and ready to use again the same day.
These before and after pictures show the great difference between before cleaning and after the slate floor had been fully restored:

The sample below shows the limestone floor after cleaning and what a difference applying a topical natural stone sealer makes. Every floor is different, but here it really enhanced the beautiful, natural honey colours in the stone whilst also giving it a lovely sheen.
Limestone floor clean and seal Oxfordshire
Carried out across the rest of the floor, it has brought it back to life and looks clean and gorgeous again the way it should be! The pictures below show before and afters side by side. As you can see, the floor was really quite dirty before and had little or no protection on it. The seal we have applied will not only protect the stone from spillages etc temporarily to save them absorbing straight into the stone and giving you time to clean them up, but also will make on going maintenance easier and the floor easier to mop clean as the dirt wont get trapped in the stone as easily.
